Hi. I'm 34 year old male and recently I have bumped on one very strange problem.
Just the other day I have noticed that there are some particles in my urine. When I better looked it, I realized that they were white.
You can't imagine how frightened I was when I saw this because, you must admit, this is very delicate region, but one friend of mine calmed me down.
He said that this could be caused by some urinary infection. So, I was wondering could anybody provide me more informations about this?
Thanks!

Well, your post made me thinking. So I have read some articles about it and listen what I found out.
I know they can look kind a scary but I insure you that they are very common and harmless.
I can say that, your friend could be right. Almost every bacterial urinary infection can cause these white particles in urine.
If this is your case than you should be prescribed with some antibiotic medications and in a week or so- these particles will disappear.
There are also one other condition that can cause this kind of symptoms. This is urolithiasis.
Urolithiasis is presents of stone in your urine ducts or in your bladder.
This is condition that has to be treated as sooner as possible so, I suggest you contact your urologist and find out the right cause of your particles and appropriate treatment.

i also have the very visable, snow globe looking particles in the urine,
for almost two years, with painful bladder area at times.
i've spend about $6,000.( no insurance on doc's in that time.
the urine never shows an infection or bacteria, it's cloudy and dark,
the odor ranges sometimes like chemicals, iodine or just plain bad.
i'm very careful with my diet, have tried eliminating many foods,
coffee, teas, alchohol, lots of different foods.
nothing seems to matter, mass quantities of purified water with dilute the
urine to remove most of the particles and color, but it always comes
back, i also have a hard emptying the bladdder at times.???????
been to a urologist, he said come back if it gets worse,
to a naturopath, and family practice doc and a nurse practicioner.
no one has other idea of what a solution might be, other than
the diet and water i've tried.
????????ant thoughts?
tx, mc

Hey guys, I'm 27 yr old female and I see those white particles in my urine too. I know that I don't have an infection, but I do know that there's blood in my urine (microhematuria). My urine doesn't even look red or pink.
If we you guys, I'd get check out for bladder cancer - it's possible to have it without symptoms. I know since I was recently diagnosed.

Better be safe...

I have discovered that STI's such as clamydia rarely show symtoms, but its possible that urinary tract infections are likely to happen if you have this infection, symtoms being, cloudy urine or with white particles.
I strongly suggest you get tests for STI's if you have these symtoms.
Hope this helps.
