My son has attention deficit disorder. He has therapy that helps us to fight against that condition. He was first prescribed with adderall. But it seems to me that he doesnt respond very well to it. He had constant headaches and problems with sleeping. I would like to know what are effective but less harsh alternatives to Adderall?

I know what problems adderall can make but I know also that they are very rare. Anyway there are some substitute medicines that can be used. For instance you can use dextroamphetamine. He is chemically very similar to adderall but your son might respond better to it. Also there is Concerta, I think that she is definitely less harsh alternative.
