Vincent's disease, also known as Trench
mouth, is a complication of mild cases of
gingivitis. The most common cause is poor oral hygiene but stress, an unbalanced diet or lack of sleep are other factors that help development of disease. Also, it is more common in people who smoke. Inflammation or infection from Vincent’s disease can spread to nearby tissues of the face and neck, but it is not contagious so you need not to worry.
