Vasculitis is usually diagnosed by blood or
body fluid. Also depends on the degree of organ involved (heart, liver…) the diagnosis of vasculitis can be established after biopsy of involved tissue (skin, sinuses,
kidney, …) An alternative to an biopsy can be a x/ray test of the blood vessels (it is called angiogram). It is used for organs, where biopsy cannot be done (liver, heart…)
