I have the same thing and it came first right after a stomach flu. Then it when away and now it's back again. It's miserable but I find that Motrin helps with the constant urge and related pain. I'm actually going to the doctor tomorrow to rule out anything more serious and to perhaps take a round of antibiotics. I didn't have to before and I just assumed then that it was a part of the virus. I do drink Cranberry Juice every day and trying to stay away from pop. Seems like all drinks go right through me. Hence I'm also always thirsty. It's hard to get anything done and I've gained weight as a consequence. Good luck.

lol yeahh it depends...if youve had it for months itw unlikly to be a UTI although the burning does suggest that. im 18 male and iv had a similar problem for 5 almost 6 months. had every test available in hospital and they politely said "your screwed for life". If it doesnt go away in the next month or so im having a catheter fitted to try and salvage whats left of my life.
I went off Effexor and went a little, I'm now taking Flo-Max to go. This really sucks. I just had an oparation to open me up so it would flow better. The Effexor messed me up for life.

i suffer from cystitis loads nd it makes me feel bluh like i just want to lay in bed and feel sorry for myself lol. but there is something you can get from the chemist. Its a powder that u mix with water, u have 6 drinks over 2 days and it realy helps. But if you think you've got cystitis i would do something about it because i had it once and didnt do anything about it and it turned into a kidney infection nd i couldnt move for days because my back hurt so much and was on antibiotics, bt i dont think that happens often.
anyways hope that helps any one

I am 30, female, and have dealt with this problem for many years, since I entered my teens if not since before. I have seen a doctor, and gotten an ultrasound that came back negative, and the doctors have given me no help, besides telling me to not drink soda, now I don't drink soda, and continue to feel the same way, and still urinate every 10 minutes or so, and have gotten nowhere with my situation, so I have continued to live with it day to day. I constantly 24/7 feel as if I have to urinate, I literally do not know what it feels like to not have to urinate. I can't even imagine that feeling! I constanly have pressure, and sometimes I can go a lot, sometimes just a trinkle comes out, with the feeling my bladder is completly full. Anyone with any info or advice is more than appreciated!

Sex commonly causes this. Do a urine culture. a combination of UTI and yeast infection is possible.

I haven't found the cause, but I found when I drink soda (especially coke/pepsi) it happens more, and when I quit less.

umm wen you drink soda, that fills sodium into your body which can make the ability to urinate more difficult. it happens, and it is happening to me right now, i suggest, to stop drinking soda, and drink alot of water. if you really hate the taste of water even though it has no taste, i suggest always drinking cranberry juice, it works even better and gives u the ability to pee and even more Twisted Evil

I get this occasionally and I never really experience pain when I urinate. It's more like an urge to urinate but when I try, I can but it's in very small amounts. I noticed that this happens usually when I don't drink enough water or something else that is hydrating. My lips get a little chapped and I feel thirsty. So, I get some water and just drink a little at a time for the rest of the day and I feel better and the feeling goes away after that.

I'm not a professional or anything but this is just from my own experience and I don't think it is anything to freak out about unless there is some kind of pain involved or last a long time (mine usually lasts for about a day). Hope this helps.. :)
