Thyroid Medicine -Trapzole

I have been just diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I was put on Tapazole 15 mg daily dose. I would like to know how this medicine Tapazole works and what will do with my thyroid. Thank you.

Tapazole belongs to class of medications called antithyroid medications.
