Hi. I have Protein S and experienced my first DVT in my lower calf in November. At first I was misdiagnosed so I ended up walking around with severe leg swelling and pain for almost 10 days. Then, after they finally diagnosed me correctly, I was hospitalized for 3 days and sent home on Lovamax and Warfarin. But, again, after two weeks, leg swelling and pain are coming back. What should I do??

You should have the ultrasound asap. It’s non-invasive and will help to put your mind at rest. Your doc’s will be able to determine the correct treatment ant that should make you get better. Good Luck with evrything!
