Swollen/Pain in Testicles With Burning inside and outside of penis head

I am 21 and don't know what is going on. Earlier I went to the docter thinking I had chlymydia and they gave me anti-biotics and I took the full dose which didn't eleviate the symptoms. My doctor looked and determined it might be nerves and told me it might go away and it hasn't. I have tried for the past 12 months telling myself I do not have something but it doesn't go away. I haven't had sex with anyone since then. My symptoms include sometimes swollen testicles with pain, burning inside and at the tip of the penis and irritation around the bottom rim of the head of the penis. It is red and burns at the touch. I was scared it might be herpes but it has been a constant problem and doesn't come and go like herpes as well as I do not have sores which associated with herpes. This is starting to wear me down and I need anwsers. I am afraid to go the the doctor because I don't want the rents to have to worry/find out about this. What do you think is the cause of this? Please help!!

I have the same exact problem, man. I'm 18 years old and had sex a few days ago and I have the same symptoms that you have. I don't have any discharge at all and my scrotum is very warm. I'm starting to freak out here.

I am 32, I was very sexually active within a month. The last person I was with, the next morning I had these similar sypmtoms as well as a urinary track infection felling. I immediately went to the doctors and they tested my blood, urine, and took a culture sample, everything came back normal. It has been a month and a half since and I still have the pain in the testicles, pain on the head and in the track of the penis as the earlier to posts have described. I hope this isn't a new type of disease. I have been referred to an Urinologists, but the appointment is still a month a way.

I have had a very similar problem that started about 2 n a half months ago. Reading all these message boards and searching the internet has led me to worry alot often causing me to lose sleep. I have been to my family doctor and he said that theres nothing visually wrong with me so i got a referral to a urologist. I just made an appointment today so hopefully i can find out what this problem is so i can get it resolved. I just pray its something that can be easily cured so a one night mistake doesnt haunt me for the rest of my life. I go in 2 days so ill let you all know how it goes.

Went to the urologist today. He said that the hole looked a little red but nothing major. He gave me a week of antibiotics and two weeks of motrin. I have a follow up appointment in 6 weeks. Hopefully the problem gets resolved with this.

any update?

it seems as if the irritation at the tip has subsided but it was not a constant thing for me so i will keep an eye on it to see if it returns. The irritation around the rim is still there. Anyone else seeing a doctor any time soon?

I have exactly the same as the first post. This has been going on since last JUNE after I had sex with my girlfriend that was having a pretty bad yeast infection. She had a fishy odor and I did not use a condom, 3 days later I got a red burning ring under the head of my penis and it itched and spread to my anus. It later subsided and now i have the same symptoms as the first post, testicular pain, stomach pain at times, burning urinary tract ect. Its getting very annoying, if anyone wants to call and talk about it PM me.

it seems as if the pain at the tip of my penis has gone but i get an itchy/prickly feeling on the underside of my penis now from time to time. I also noticed about a month ago that my urine is almost always a darker than normal yellow and has a stronger smell especially when i drink soda or juice. Anyone else experience this?
