Yes, unfortunately, it's possible. If you have type 2 diabetes, you're at increased risk of various bone and joint disorders. Osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis) is the most common form of arthritis and it's a joint disease caused by the breakdown and loss of the cartilage of one or more joints. The symptoms are joint pain, loss of joint flexibility or movement and stiffness.

Please help and send encouragment and what you can do for both of these. My daughter is suffering from this and it has tottally disabled her. At 24 she has had 2 hip replacements. Right now she is tottally fed up with life and the quality of life. Doctors aren't helping and her life is one big ball of nausa and pain. She can't do the simplest of acts. For example, drawing puts her hands in so much pain she can't move them. She tries to do anything and she is in pain.
What is your doctor doing for you? how do you have a quality of life? her's isn't??????
