Stomach ache after taking medicine for Gout

Since 1 and half months i have been taking allupurinol for treating highlevels of uri acid in my blood , but off late i have severe pain in my stomach ust below the rib cage , and often progresses to the back , could anyone tell me if it is re;ted to my medication , and if so should i stop this medicine or take something else. thanks

iIf i were you,see your doctor right away,cause the medication you taking(allupurinol) can cause liver disease and watched for any rashes,see doctor right away.
