Should I do another test?

I am 31 years of age and had a weight problem 7 years ago. My periods stopped and never returned probably also due to competing and training, plus low body fat. I decided to come off the pill 6 months ago roughly and see if they would return, also having unprotected sex with my partner of 11 yrs.

About 5 weeks ago I had a terrible week, really bad premenstrual/pregnancy symptoms? The day I bought a test I was bleeding a little and it came out negative. I did bleed a little for the rest of the week. My concern is that was this a proper period could I still be pregnant, how accurate would the test be with blood present and was this premenstrual symptoms as I am again feeling rotten, sick , dizzy, tired etc.
