Hi. I went to the doctor about few weeks ago due to my problem with burning when urinating. He had prescribed an antibiotic which I regularly take. Then, I’ve noticed a small rash on my groin area, went back to the doc, and he prescribed Clotrimazole that made the rash go. But, now, I’m experiencing a burning in my scrotum, and I really don’t know what to do next. What could this be? Should I visit my doc again??? Thanks for all replies.

This burning sensation can include epididymitis or prostatitis so each of these two you should be evaluated for. There are several ways to do an evaluation, and you and your doc will determine the most appropriate one. I think this answers your question – YES, you should see your doc again. Be sure to mention these two diseases to him so that he doesn’t forget to check them out. Take care. Good luck.
