SCANTY PERIOD AND INCREASED APPETITE, Pregnant?

i STARTED A NEW BIRTH CONTROL AND I HAVE HAD A SCANTY PERIOD AND I HAVE HAD A SERIOUS INCREASE IN APPETITE AND IM NEVER FULL. i WAS WONDERING IS THIS AN EFFECT OF THE BIRTH CONTROL OR AM I PREGNANT OR SOMETHIN? SHOULD I TAKE A TEST OR JUST CONTINUE WITH MY BIRTH CONTROL?

What birth control do you use? depo - provera (the injection birth control) seems to have an effect on how you eat, makes you gain quite a bit of weight and changes your appetite rapidly, it also causes spotting, i experienced this when i first started using depo, i was told it would regulate when it came to my next injection.
