Reoccuring ARS HIV Symptoms?

Almost three months ago I had unprotected sex with a friend of mine. A week and a half later I had red spots on my tongue, a sore throat, stiff nead/headaches, a very low-grade fever, and swollen lymph nodes. The sore throat was only around for a week, the fever only a few days, but the stiff neck, spots on my tongue, and lymph nodes stayed for over a month and a half. I went to the ER about my neck and they said I had pulled a muscel, gave me some non-narcotic pain relievers, it it was gone. I don't know if my glands are still swollen, but the tip of my tongue has been getting red patches on and off for two and a half months now. Suddenly, I'm starting to get low grade fevers and stiff neck/headache and nausea again. I know I should get tested, but at this time I really don't have the time to get to the doctors for atleast a week. Are reoccuring flu-like symptoms a sign of HIV? I thought after the initial infection, most people have any symptoms for a while..
