Is this advice free?
If so, please answer. If not, ignore.

I have had a mild pain in my lower right side for two days. No fever. Two years ago I had a similar pain; was diverticulitis. Is there anything I can do to lessen or remove pain? Diet?

Hello, If you are having mild pain and you think you are having an attack go on a low fiber diet until you get to the doctor. Don't wait to have it checked I also had one attack prior to the one I am having now and I was unsure this time around if it was the same thing, I waited too long and now I have a severe infection and am facing surgery in 3 weeks. A high fiber diet is the trick when you are not having an attack.
I did not realize how serious of a condition this could be until now. I hope you do well and my prayers are with you.
