I have had similar problems and i got a pap smear it came back negative but i am still in pain and i have lower burning too! one doctor i saw said i had HPV but i thought he was weird so i didnt believe him. I got a HPV test and it came back negative. Every doctor said i just had an infection or yeast infection but the yeast pill didnt work. I am starting to think maybe the doctor who said i hads HPV could be right because i never had problems like this ever before!!!! and i had sex several months a go with a new guy and i had protection but you can get HPV with a condom and the burning is on the outer area where the doctor said the signs of HPV were.. i am worried!!!!! I Dont get it why would my paps and my HPV test come back negative!

hi pinkflower i was just reading your post, and was curious to which thrush/yeast infection pills you took? lots of people dont know but majority of these treatments work for about a week and then the same symptoms return, this is because alot not all but alot of these medications are YEAST BASED , and feeding a yeast infection with more yeast if you think about it does not make any sense at all, lol

i discussed this with my doctor and he had no response i also questioned him on how much pharmaceutical company's pay him to promote these drugs

i now see a different doctor lol- on my own accord.

the best thing i did was research of my own and i spoke to my naturopath about it,
i now whenever i have a yeast infection or think i do buy PROBIOTICS these are good bacteria that kill yeast! its fricen fantastic!

if your unsure as to what i mean im sure you have seen an advert on yakult for good digestive bacteria,
the powder form of good bacteria is what you should try, i use acidophilus take about 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoon with water oraly and (this sounds weird but it works) at night the same amount of powder insert into your vagina (at night so it doesn't come out) do this for about a week.

within 2-3 days you will notice less symptoms, keep taking it oraly especially if you eat alot of sugar (sugar creates yeast) its not bad at all for you and it will prevent thrush in the futre Surprised

(SUGAR CREATES YEAST, if you have too much yeast in your tummy the yeast will usually be downstairs too, causing thrush.)

GO PROBIOTICS WOOOOOOOOOT!!!!! lol i hope this info helps you and if the symptoms are not gone within 2 weeks see a better doctor, and ask about (pelvic inflammitory disease) even if you havn't had chlamydia or gonnhorea there is a chance you can get it , i dont have any std's and i never have, and i had (pid) for 9 months without knowing , i was misdiagnosed 4 times for a bladder infection
i have been treated now thankgod and feel soo much better!

I have had similar symptoms in the past. I was diagnosed for bacterial vaginosis (BV).
