Nutrisystem diet and products and hair loss

My son wants to try the Nutrisystems diet. I lost 80 pounds on it 20 years ago but lost a lot of hair some of which never grew back. I attributed it to the small amount of protein in their diet at the time. Have you heard any complaints about hair loss with their current products and foods?

"My daughter used nutri system for 5 months and has lost more than half her hair. She has been to the doctor and has found no health issue as a cause of the hair loss. She stopped eating nurtisystem and her hair is growing back and she had beautiful hair. I sure hope it all comes back."

My husband and I both lost weight. But we also lost ALOT of our hair. I was upset by the bald spots i was seeing. We stoped and the weight came back on but the hair is comming back very slowy. I will not recomend this product to anyone.

I went on it for barely three months. Lost 14 lbs maybe, but in month 4 (not on diet any longer) started losing hair....in a month half my hair was gone....hoping it grows back this year.....

my sister and brother in law have been on it for a few months and didnt lose any hair. I eat it alot too. I dont get it its high in protein and gelatin and other things that are good for your hair I thought itd do the opposite.... ?? Maybe its because of the weight loss?
