Hello. I have a mom that is 51 years old, and she is depressed all the time. My father died a year ago, and we were both crushed, but I pulled it through, because I know that killing myself wont help. She even forgets sometimes that he is gone. Do you know a way for me to help her. I don’t know what to do…

I am sorry about your father. My condolences. It sound to me that your mother just needs more time. What you can do is to give her 110% of support. I was once there myself. My mother died three years ago and I was devastated for a long time, but I pulled through. I am sure your mother will too. Wish you all the best.
