Okay I know a women who has multiple cervical polyps. I know that if it was just 1 or 2, they could be easily removed, but she says she has many of them. Her family doctor is advising against the surgery for that exact reason - too much risk with many polyps - while another doctor recommended to do the surgery.

These polyps are the results of taking a menses "stopping pills" i.e. oral pills that delayed/stopped menses for a couple of weeks even menses was due.

She is currently taking antibiotics for these polyps.

My question is, what are her options? Should she go for the surgery? What are the risks if she does? If she doesnt, what side effects will she suffer from with the polyps still inside her? The risk of cancer is obviously multiplied? Will this effect she reproductive abilities anyway? Anything else I am missing on?

Currently she has intense pains...

Help please!

Any response is very very appreciated, thank you!
