Is This Strep Throat?

I have had white spots / bumbs on one side of my throat for at least a couple of weeks now. I'm not sure exactly how long because I do not have soar throat or fever or any other symptoms of strep throat or a bacterial infection. I do feel a slight discomfort the throat, but nothing that is too bothersome. What else might this be?

I had the same thing basically. I don't know exactly when it started, but I was bored one day and got out a little mirror to look at my throat. My throat never hurt THAT bad, but it definately was uncomfortable.
I went to the after-hours clinic and I was diagnosed with Strep Throat.
