Is Afrin safe during pregnancy?

Hi, I need information from you. I am 4 month pregnant. I carry twins. Last few days I have really big problem with cold. It is common cold but it doesnt let me sleep at night. I have to do something. I am going to take Afrin but first I would like to know is it safe during pregnancy. I would not like to harm my babies.

Hi! When I was carrying my younger daughter I was taking Afrin during pregnancy. If it is not in first trimester then it is OK. Of course I was taking it for a day or two. You should not take it more then 4 or 5 days in a row. Anyway your doctor should be familiar with this.
