Hi, I have a son who is 5 years old. Last year we had a car crush, and since then he suffered from diabetes type 1. We gave him insulin preparations as doctor said. But two days ago, something happened and medications did not work anymore. After we took him to a hospital, doctor said that it is insulin resistance problem. We left him in a hospital. Is it dangerous?

No it is not dangerous! Do not worry, it is a kind of allergic reaction on insulin preparations. I had it myself last year. Your son will be in hospital for several days. During that time they (the doctors) will find out the reason for his insulin resistance problem, and will solve it.
