I seams that I have Metaplasia.

My doctor preformed an EGD last week and said that the biopsies showed that I had Metaplasia. He said not to worry but he would have to do another one in two years.

What is metaplasia?

Normal transformation of tissue from one type to another, as in the ossification of cartilage to form bone.
