About a year ago I noticed that I had, what appears to be, a wart on the labia majora. I shrugged it off not thinking it was anything serious. But now I have about 7! They don't bother me at all, they're just there and I don't want them to be.
A friend of mine thinks I have Genital Warts but from what I hear they are sexually transmitted and I am not sexually active, at all. Heck I've never even been kissed! But could it still be genital warts? Even if I'm a virgin and never even been close to being intimate with anyone?!

I'm very frightened because I don't know whats causing these warts/bumps and because I can't visit a doctor, since I'm living on limited funds Crying or Very sad These passed months I've even been crying myself to sleep Crying or Very sad

I'm in the same situation. I've done some smaller things, like fingering and hanjobs, but i'm a virgin. Is it possible to get hpv/warts through this kind of thing w/out having skin to skin genital contact?
I"ve had them for about 7 months, and pretty much ruled out everything else. I can't go to the doctor, because i don't want to have to tell my parents about this.

Warts are contagious growths on the skin or mucous membranes and can be caused by over 100 types of human papillomavirus (HPV). Genital warts, which are caused by around 30 of the 100 strains, are usually, but not always, transmitted by sexual contact.

i know the last posts were from a while ago but if anyone else reads this...

its best just to fess up or somehow get the funds or go to a community clinic (there are definitely resources out there) and get it checked out. the peace of mind is priceless.
