I have no signs of my menstrual cycle, just received a negative pregnancy test

How is everyone today. I would like input from anyone that can help. I've been with my husband for 11yrs. We have not used any protection and I haven't gotten pregnant. We saw specialist that informed us that there was nothing wrong with either of us. Since I was 14 My cycle was on time every month like clock work. First the tender breast then the stomach cramps. Now to my surprise my cycle was due on April 4th. I usally get the sore breast and the cramps 1 1/2 weeks before it comes and there was nothing. Today is the 8th and nothing yet. I took a HPT this morning and received a negative result. Is this common? I'm thinking about waiting until Friday to consult my Doc. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but this is not a common thing for me. reguardless of stress it's always been on time........ pls help. All suggestions welcomed.

hello, well like you i went threw the same thing, my period was always normal up until i got married, it would even take me up to 5 months to get it, just like you i always thought that i was pregnant but it never happend, i also went to the doctor and was told that their was nothing wrong with either me or my husband. It took me 5 years of my marriage to get pregnant now i have 2 beautiful kids and can still have more, doctors, now tell me it was stress and problems that would'nt let me get pregnant. If you have problems try not to carry them all and relax maybe that will help you. Good Luck.
