I had chronic infection with the hepatitis B virus. Doctor told me that this infection increased the risk of developing Hepatocellular Carcenoma. How will I know that I have one? Can I prevent it? I’m very scared! Help me, please!

You will be sure that you don’t have hepatocellular carcinoma only after you make biopsy of your liver. Biopsy is made by radiologist and sometimes mass is biopsed using a laparoscope. There is no place for fear! Hepatocellular Carcenoma is curable. If it is necessary you’ll have surgery. You also can be cured by liver transplantation. If tumor is very large those procedures are not curative. Visit your doctor regularly and you might save your life.
I wish you all the best!
