How to Stop Bleeding?

Hello and Thank You.
My mother is on Cumidan (blood thinner) and she had a tooth pulled today and is bleeding from the mouth at an alarming rate.
Is there a trick to stopping the bleeding when she is on blood thinner?
An herb, type of food that will help clogg the blood?
