Hi! I have hearing loss with 20!!! For some time I use iPod. I noticed that I have problem with my hearing. People around sometimes ask me am I deaf. Please tell me can music listening induce hearing loss. What should I do?

Hi! First you must go to audiologist to see what is problem with your hearing. Music listening can induce stress to the auditory system, to the hearing system. When a person attends a concert it’s not unusual for them to experience some ringing in their ears. That is a sign that the inner ear has been subjected to significant stress. Many young people have problem with hearing loss because some music devices like MP3, walkmans, iPod.
