I have these too but they've spread to many parts of my body. They look sorta purple red bumps under the skin and they itch and hurt horribly. I've been told it may be a form of vasculitis which is a very serious condition but I cant afford the confirmation test. Mine have progressively gotten worse since November of last year. Now I have vision problems and headaches constantly. Ask your dr about vasculitis.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. i DID SEE THE DERMALOGIST WHO SAID THAT IT WAS NOT HERPETIC WHITLOW. SHE SAID THAT IS EXTREMELY PAINFUL WITH LARGE BLISTERS ON THE SKIN. SHE DID GIVE ME SOME STEROID CREAM. I HAVE FOUND THESE SUB-DERMAL AREAS THAT ARE WHITE WITH A RED DOT IN THE MIDDLE. NOT VERY PAINFUL OR ITCHY. WHEN YOU PUT PRESSURE AROUND THE DOT IT GET WHITER. I HAVE EVEN FOUND THEM ON MY TOES. NOT MANY. MY SISTER IN LAW SAYS THAT SHE GETS THEN WHEN SHES STRESSED.
