Hit in Neck now Pain swallowing, feels like mumps but I had it already

I was kicked in the neck saturday on the right side and I remember it hurting and then I had pain swallowing. There is no bruising at all but I feel almost like I did when I had mumps. I cant really notice any bad swelling but it is very painful to swallow and doesnt seem to be getting better. Is my lymph node bruised and do I just need to wait for it to heel??? please write back.

I have exactly the same problem, did it ever get better for you?
