Hepatitis C

I have been suffering with advanced stage Hep C - Geno 1b for over 7 years. I found out I got it in the mid 70's. Only time I had transfusion - no druggie, no tattoos, no piercings.........I have done tx 2 times without a resaponse. I am needing info on any news of a possible sure in my lifetime. I am in fairly bad shape. Revolving hospital doors mainly due to encephalopy - no matter how hard I try the ammonia levels are bad. I would appreciate any info. thanks
