First, I want to tell you that I totally understand you because I have had almost the same problems with my little daughter.
You should know that it is completely normal and that all kids are born with a gag
reflex to help prevent them from choking.
While you try to feed him, you probably push spoon with food too deep in child’s throat because
tongue automatically thrusts forward to get rid of the object. Good thing about all this is that this part of this reflex last only till sixth month. After six months- it disappear.
In the future- put a small amount of food on the spoon and place a on the front of his tongue.
That’s how you will avoid all possible reflexes!
