External Hemmoroid Treatment

Is there a recommended otc treatment that will shrink a external hemmoroid thay is about thesize of a jelly bean?

I live with hems everyday, for the last 23 years. They don't hurt at all, but they are always there. I've had 3 or 4 flare ups in those years. I did not find that any of the over-the-counter remedies worked for me. My best remedy was to drink a lot of water and to regularly eat a high fiber cereal (on schedule). In addition, it important for me to practice a high level of good hygiene, i.e. always making sure I was not sweaty or unclean in that area beyond the end of the day. These things have worked well for me. I hope this will help you.
