Blood tests that I recently had to do, shown that my cholesterol was elevated. I have to make some more researches, but was suggested to start with the diet. As I have never been very fond of physical activity, I‘d like to know if exercise really can help cholesterol level to lower? Please tell me if it is really that important. Thanks.

I believe that exercise is very important part of the therapy of high blood cholesterol. When I decided to start exercise regularly, 10-15 minutes every day, results were visible on me and on my tests too. I lost on weight easier; my blood circulation was toned up. Also, it helps burn fats, lowers ldl and boosts hdl. Exercise does not have to mean that you have to sweat in lycra in the gym; walking, biking or swimming would be absolutely enough.
