Difference in symptoms between Chlamydia and Trichomonas?

Hi, I am 26 years old female and I have light burning sensation while I urinate. I gave my urine to be tested but all results are negative. I have talked to my good friend and she told me that similar symptoms may be caused by Chlamydia and trichomonas. I would like to know what the difference in symptoms between Chlamydia and trichomonas is

Hi, my sister suffered from Chlamydia infection several months ago. When she visited her doctor he told her that he has to take swab to be sure what caused infection because trichomonas and Chlamydia may give similar symptoms. Also these infections may give no symptoms or light symptoms with itching and urethral discharge. Difference may be that discharge in patients which are infected by trichomonas may be green and smells pretty bad.
