Hello!
I need advice.
I have been diagnosed with diabetes (type 2) 2 years ago. Even before, my skin on legs felt so itchy, that I sometimes woke up at night. I even sometimes took a hairbrush and scratch it on legs. I actually wounded myself!!! These wounds do not heal easily and leave scars behind.
What should I use to prevent this itching?

Hello!
This could be because of high blood sugar levels or nerve endings irritations.
It is best treated with cortisone creams or moisturizers. It is also important to improve blood sugar level.
Maybe you have some kind of fungal infection? In that case you need short course of oral antifungal drug. However, do not try to scratch it anymore, because scratching can lead to bacterial infections, which worsen the situation.
