I am suffering from hep c. It seems that my liver is for nothing more but extraction; transplantation is all I can hope for now. Even though I have to wait for the procedure, I am concerned. What of something goes wrong? Is it possible that post-op Hep C Treatment Cause Diabetes?

Well, it all depends on the medications that are used afterwards. Medicaments used are there for stopping eventual liver rejection. And not all of them are that dangerous. Tacrolimus is the one that can be related to emerging of diabetes symptoms. It is an immune system suppressant that can cause some other, also dangerous conditions beside diabetes.
