I’ve been suffering from chronic headache and Migraines. I have a constant headache that has never gone away in the 5 years, I get sharp pains on either side of my head and I get migraines. I have seen many different doctors and tried many different meds. Nothing seems to be helping. The pain is going in to my neck and upper back and I have had many tests done including MRI's, CTs…and the tests show nothing wrong. I still have the pain and need help to control it.

With Migraine disease, MRIs, CTs, etc, won't show anything because they’re run to rule out other problems. I have constant headache, like a cluster headache, which affects the left side of my head above my temple. I have stabbing pain when I move my head, but for the most part the only thing that hurts is the skin of my scalp. I am not sure what is this, I guess sinus headache.

Eat a well-balanced diet, including protein with every meal. Avoid chewing gum; consuming ice cream, iced beverages, or salt; and guard against excessive sun exposure. Try eliminating foods containing tyramine and the amino acid phenylalanine.

We represent "Unauthorized Ad", an on-line company supplying customized vitamin supplements to the USA. We hope this information may be of interest to you.

Dr Balch's nutritional team has created a formula designed to help relieve headache. Antioxidants have also been included for maintaining a healthy nervous system. Calcium, working together with Magnesium, plays a key role in maintaining proper nerve function. L-Phenylalanine is involved in the biosynthesis of tyrosine and processes involving neurotransmitters. A deficiency of Pantothenic Acid may cause fatigue and headache. Pantothenic Acid is also a component of fat metabolism and assists in releasing energy from food sources. Vitamin C plays a role in the manufacture of neurotransmitters. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that may protect nerve cells against damage by free radicals. An active component of Feverfew is thought to control the inflammation that constricts the blood vessels in the head and prevents blood vessel spasms, which may contribute to headaches. Ginkgo Biloba helps maintain peripheral circulation to the brain. White Willow contains a chemical similar to aspirin. Preliminary research suggests that White Willow bark extracts have analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects.

Dr. Balch works with "Unauthorized Ad" to provide custom-made natural remedies for anyone who wants an all-in-one daily supplement that addresses all their health concerns, as well as providing the vitamins and minerals needed for optimum health and wellness. We include formula for 680 different health concerns in our database.

If you are concerned or unsure about your symptoms, please contact your healthcare provider for professional medical advice.

One of the possible causes of the type of migraines that are constant and without an accurate diagnostic, and which also cause discomfort in the ears is problems with your temporomandibular joint. It would be worth trying to see a good dentist to check your bite and how your jaw is functioning in general. Good luck..

Does the balance diet answer apply if I've been having a headache for a week straight now, because I don't think that's really my problem?
