Is it possible to purchase Trich treatment pills (Metronidazole (Falgyl), or Tinidazole) over the counter? Or is this doled out by prescription only?

I was actually under the impression that you could only get trich through vaginal sex so it is helpful to know that it can also be spread through other sexual contact as well and it means that I will be aware of that in the future because I was completely ignorant about this STD. I think a lot of people know more about chlamydia and gonorrhea more than they know about trich. Thanks again!
