I think this is one of the most insidious articles I have ever read about menopause. It's negative and has a spiteful element to it, I can only deduce it was either written by a male medic or by a menopausal woman having a hard to cope with mood swing and needing to share her spite. I find it disgusting that the opening of the article tells women that they, by all rights SHOULD fear what they cannot escape, menopause. Then it goes on to focus on every frightening symptom in a negative and hopeless way. I felt suicidal after reading it. The whole thing needs reviewing not just with regard to content and attitude, but with regard to poor English and grammar, it just doesn't come across well at all.

I didn't read it quite as being so negative but it looks like some people did. I feel like it taught me a little about menopause but I don't think that it was trying to be overly negative...thanks for posting it!
