While Wikipedia is often full of interesting items, it's usually a good idea to check anything you find there. Narth.com, on the other hand, is a very biased source, considering that the organization is specifically designed to "treat" homosexuality. If you're interested in finding out more about the actual science of gender differences, differenceblog.livejournal.com is a daily blog about the scientific study of gender differences.

Women are less productive than men because they work less? Has the author considered that women work less because they are more productive (get things done faster)? Obviously this is not true, as both suggestions (that women are more productive and that women are less productive) is a blatant generalization.

I want to know about the differences in the "Glands" between the sexes. Also about the mens "adams apple" and the number of ribs between the sexes.

What about housewives? does that count as work? i mean the cooking and cleaning? i bet if a woman was removed from the home. the man would be eating out of the trash. the kids would not be ready for school and social workers would be at your house 2 times a week.

Wow, just wow to number four in the physical differences section. Now, I'm not one of these militant feminist (I think they scare everyone!), but really, was there a need to take a jab at feminist in general? If it wasn't for early feminist, all us women would still be chained to an oven, popping out babies, vacuuming wearing our "Sunday's Best" and bringing slippers and a scotch to a husbands when they come home from work. If you want to do that, that's fine, I just don't feel that what's on my chest and not between my legs should dictate my lot in life. On that note, last I checked, there is a decent portion of female combat soldiers. Now I'm not saying they don't have to work harder than men, but I bet they are just as "effective" as men. A well trained soldier is a well trained soldier. I enjoyed your bout of backwards progress though! I'll be waiting for the follow up article saying that people of color are only good as cooks in the military, in addition to the things they should be physically incapable of doing.

Great Post. If women combat soldiers are as effective as men, why not send them to Iraq or Afghanistan to fight Taliban ? It does not really feel logical to rely on a woman army commander or a brigadier !
