Hi, I work as sailor, but at home I spend some time in front of computer. Could this be the cause of blurred vision?

Hi, actually many things can lead to blurred vision. Computer is just on e of these things. Probably you also have weak muscles which pulls the lens into shape. Loss of elasticity of the lens is an inevitable result of ageing. There are special supplements for promotion of eyes health which include antioxidants and essential vitamins, such as vitamin A and carotenes, and minerals. Macular degeneration presents loss of the light detecting neurones at the back of the eye, what can have blurred vision as result as well.
