Can you take weight loss herbs with Lexapro?

I am a 37 year old female and I just started taking Lexapro for my depression. One of my many depression issues is that I have gained alot of weight over the last couple of years and have had major trouble losing it. I want to know if taking an herbal suppliment such as Hoodia is harmful with Lexapro?

You need to ask your doctor or a store that sells the weight loss pills
