My sister is 35 years old and she is in her second month of pregnancy. And even though everything was ok in first few weeks, things are not that good now. I want to say that she has problems with excessive water in her body and doctor is not willing to prescribe her anything, considering the pregnancy. Can herbal diuretics be taken in pregnancy?

Well, I assume that you already know about the first trimester of pregnancy when all medications should be avoided. In that period, the fetus should progress in giant leaps, and that might be obstructed with medications. And I think that goes for herbal meds too, although they should be a lot safer. I guess the only thing she can do is ask her doctor again about her options or maybe even get a second opinion.
