Can I take lisinop(blood pressure) and birth control pills together?

I recently when to my Ob-gyn for routine visit and was told that taking lisinop and the minipill was not a good combination. What I need to know is what pill would be best for me. I have a monogomous relationship with my husband and we have 1 child, but we are not ready to move into the direction of more children. I want birth control that limits me to "spotting" so often.
