What are calcium deposits and where do they occur? How can be detected?
Thanks for info!

Hey,
I hope we are thinking the same… I do not know if this is actually called calcium deposits, but it is a condition in which calcium crystals form in tendons. But, interesting, there is no link between this deposits and calcium in the body. This condition is a cause of inflammation of tendons (condition is called calcific tendinits). Most common “calcium deposits” occur in the shoulder, elbow, hip, pelvis, foot, neck, wrist, fingers… They can be seen on x/ray or ct scan.
