Hi! I am a 19 y/o female.. not pregnant, never been pregnant, no prior medical conditions. I am on the birth control Seasonel, which makes you only have a period every three months. I have been on it for two years now and have never had any problems with it. I have been having sharp pains in my lower left abdomen for two months now. Two weeks ago, I went to the gyno. I was tested for gonneria and claymedia, both were negative. She felt a fullness on the left ovay and reccomended a ultrasound. The ultrasound showed what looks like a cyst, 3 cm X 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm. I do not know what kind it is, and I think my doctor assumes it is a functional cyst and wants to wait it out. My doctor decided to take blood work last Friday, to check my white blood cells and something else, and I have not gotten the results back. Tonight, while walking home, I felt like I had started my period or peed in my pants a little. When I got home I found a clump of bloody, fatty tissue a litter bigger than a quarter. What is going on!?!? My email is tink7486@hotmail.com if you would prefer to email me. Thank you!

Hi! I can’t guess with certainty what this could be especially because you are having specific problems and we still don’t know what they are.

Could this be the beginning of your period? Haven’t you ever had blood clots during your period?

It happens to me often that I have dark blood spots that look like liver tissue. I know it that this is uterine lining tissue that we are expelling as periods. On the normal occasions, blood clots happen when are periods are heavier and the flow faster and when our body doesn’t have the time to break the clots.

If you haven’t been experiencing any other problems, I would say this is normal because it happens. I know myself that ovarian cysts can cause devastating pains especially during periods as well as heavy periods.

Not mention saying that you are under a lot of pressure regarding your health and you may be just reacting on stress as well as your menstrual cycle.

I wouldn’t panic if I were you. Wait for the results and then you will have the answers.
However, if you continue to bleed heavily after these blood clots, the call your gyno right away.

Did you by any chance get your blood results?

its a large glob, almost like the vaginal secrections when a girl gets turned on, but it all comes out at once. initally it was clear, and then it went to off white, and then back to clear, and then traces of brown dots, and earlier today it was completly brown. I went to the doctor's for a Pap Smear in June, but my doctor is acting very questionable. i still havent recieved word on my results I have called hundreds of times for my results but either they tell me the doctor isnt in, or no onw answers the phone, what should i do?
