Hi, I need some natural way to treat gout, because my alopurinol therapy is producing serious side effects. Any experiences about the Best way to treat gout naturally would be appreciated.

Gout is a form of inflammatory arthritis manifested with heat, pain, redness, stiffness, and swelling of fingers or joints. Uric acid which can not be excreted from the body is responsible for the onset of the disease. Uric acid crystals inflame surrounding tissue and cause arthritis. Food containing purines, which are broke down to purines is responsible for gout. Certain protein food like beans and vegetables, contain high levels of purines. In general, food that should be avoided include meat and dairy products. Fish, like mackerel, sardines, oysters, mussels, and scallops, should also be forgotten in a menu of person with gout, so as meat like poultry, pork, and beef.

Dude! You've just listed all of the major food groups as the "what not to eat" list! So what are people with gout supposed to eat? The only things you didn't put on your list are unedibles!
