Be suspicious of having nervous lesion?

About the patient:
Age 43, Female.

symtom:
The whole Left leg was Lack of muscle tone(myophagism).
Companied by soft,dull pain senses,and this feelings tended to be much worse especially when laid down,if she standed up or walked slowly,she would feel a little better.
And the painful feelings could be bad either if walked on foot for a much longer period;

When sitting down, slaps the knee, she tended to feel that there were "sharp knives" inside the skin, this behavior could cause a lot of pain.

Pre-diagnosed results by doctor:
nervous lesion.

Could any one help my aunt?
do there has some new invented medicine that could cure it?
Any valuable suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
