HI. I'm 27 and I've had rheumatoid arthritis ever since junior high school. It’s really affected my knees and now I feel them very weak. I would really love to start working out my legs but as far as I know 99% of leg exercises use the knee joint and that is not such a good idea for me. Are there some good leg exercises that could help to strengthen my knees?

Arthritis is really big thing and I believe you really should see a physiotherapist. I don’t think that there’s anybody here that could give you better answer than a physiotherapist. They all know huge number of all kinds of exercises for all types of states and injuries so I’m sure they’ll be able to find some the most appropriate for you.
